Hello and welcome to Failed Death Save, I’m your host Lich Lord Rich. I guess this page is supposed to be an introduction to the blog and give you an idea of what sort of content there will be so it’s only fair that this is a long and rambling post that goes off on tangents before forgetting what the original purpose was supposed to be.
This is a space where I will talk about Dungeons & Dragons and TTRPGs and probably even Warhammer 40k. The posts will include references to a great many things, many of them will be bad and schlocky. I enjoy procrastination, overthinking, decision paralysis, impulse buying, picking up new hobbies by completely over investing myself before losing interest or realising I only need 2% of the things (or both), and hyper fixating on trivial things. I own several brain processing quirks that may or may not come up in the course of my writing when they may or may not be relevant.
As touched on in my About Me there’s some amount of wishing to help pull that social media pendulum back toward the “old Internet” where text was king and ads and general bullshit was less than what it currently is. I’m just one person but the Internet is a strange beast and if I can use this platform to help someone, especially someone whose thought processes are similar to my own, to work something out for the better then rest assured that I will high five myself.
